The Joshua Tree National Park spans two different desert ecosystems covering almost 800,000 acres. The landscape is comprised of amazing sculpted boulders, strange looking Joshua Trees, Cholla Cactus and Ocotillo. There is an abundance of wildlife including coyotes, bobcats, cougars, bighorn sheep, rabbits, snakes, lizards, frogs and many types of migratory birds.
